Ingredients of Ari unda or rice laddoo
- Prepare of Matta Rice.
- You need of grated coconut.
- Prepare of Jaggery grated.
- It's of Toasted cashewnuts.
- Prepare of Cardamom powder.

Ari unda or rice laddoo step by step
- Wash rice and drain it..
- Heat a pan and roast the rice till it changes it's colour uniformly to a darker shade and once it's crisp and shrinks a bit switch off the flame and transfer it into a plate let it cool down..
- In the same toast cashewnuts..
- Take a mixer grinder jar and tip in roasted rice and grind into a fine powder. Once done add rest of the ingredients and grind for 30 secs so that everything mix together..
- Transfer the above mixture onto a plate take a small portion of the mixture in your hand shape them into round ladoos these laddoos tends to harden and that's ok..
In the earlier days it used to be prepared in the 'Ural' the traditional stone mortar. The pounding stick is called as 'Ulakka'.
