Dates ladoo. These dates ladoos are so easy to make that I almost make these twice a week in small quantities to pack in my kids' snack box for their school. You can very much use your favorite nuts like walnuts, almonds, peanuts and pistachios. Even seeds like pumpkin seeds or sesame seeds too go well in them.

Dates ladoo It is easy and simple to make without cooking. A healthy snack for kids: Dates is a healthy fruit loaded with vitamins, minerals, calcium and fiber. Especially for growing kids it helps to keep them. You can have Dates ladoo using 7 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Dates ladoo

  1. Prepare of seedless dates.
  2. Prepare of cashews.
  3. You need of Badam.
  4. You need of akhrot /walnuts.
  5. It's of poppy seeds.
  6. It's of ghee.
  7. It's of powdered sugar.

This recipe is similar to Dates and nuts roll I posted few years back. The best part is the dates almond laddu can be made in under five minutes. You can mix and match and use differnt combinations of nuts. You can use nuts like almonds, cashdew , pista, walnuts or peanuts.

Dates ladoo step by step

  1. Chop seedless dates, dry roast cashews, almonds and poppy seeds..
  2. Grind cashews Almonds and akhrot to a rough powder..
  3. Assemble chopped dates, poppy seeds, cashew almond and akhrot powder, sugar and ghee. Mix all these things together and make ladoo out of it..

For sweetness you can use dates, honey or jaggery. today's recipe, I have used almonds, soft dates and chia seeds. This recipe is for Date and Nut Ladoo, or Candy as we call them at home. For my grand kids they are like candy and they love it. Adapted from my friend Renu's recipe, when I tried this ladoo for the first time, I said WOW. I could not believe the main ingredient was only dates.
