  1. Prepare 200 grams of kidney beans(boiled).
  2. Prepare 3 of medium onions (chopped).
  3. Prepare 2 of Tomato (paste).
  4. You need 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  5. It's 2 of green chillies (chopped).
  6. You need For of Whole masala-2 bay leaves,2black cardamon,4 cloves,5-6 black pepper.
  7. You need 1 tsp of Cumin seeds.
  8. You need 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  9. Prepare 1.5 tbsp of garam masala.
  10. It's 1.5 tbsp of coriander powder.
  11. It's 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  12. Prepare as per taste of Salt.
  13. It's 1/2 tsp of asafoetida (hing).
  14. It's 2 tsp of Rajma powder.
  15. It's 5-6 tbsp of Cooking oil.

Always use fresh rajma as old rajma takes a long time to cook. Rajma beans should be cooked very well and have the melt in the mouth texture. Rajma curry is basically made using raw kidney beans which are soaked and then cooked with onions, tomatoes and a special blend of spices called "rajma masala powder". This spice blend has a lot of spices in it like dry mango, nutmeg, coriander, pomegranate seeds, cinnamon, ginger, cumin, cardamom, mace etc.

  1. Boil the kidney beans with 3 whistles in pressure cooker..
  2. Take deep pan add 4tbsp oil. Add all whole spices and onion, ginger garlic paste..
  3. After the saute onions and brown in colour add tomato puree and all masala..
  4. Cooked till oil is separated from the masala.that is perfectly cooked..
  5. Add boiled rajma with stock. And add half cup of water, cook with cover the pan for 10 minutes in medium flame..
  6. After 10 minutes Rajma is ready,garnish with fresh coriander leaves..
  7. Serve hot with Rice. Taste is delicious with rice.you can wat with roti also. Enjoy!!.
