Ingredients of Rajma

  2. It's 4 tbsp of desi ghee.

  7. You need to taste of Salt according.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tbs of red chilli powder.
  9. It's 1 tbs of kitchen king masala.
  10. Prepare 1/2 cup of fresh cream.
  11. You need 1 pinch of hing.
  12. You need 1 tbsp of jeera seeds.
  13. You need 2 of cloves.
  14. You need 1 of bay leaf.
  15. Prepare 4 of black pepper.

The Punjabi way of cooking Rajma Masala is to soak it overnight in water, boil it using a pressure cooker and mix bhuna masala made with chopped onions, pureed tomato, ginger, garlic and milieu of fresh spices including cumin, coriander and chilli powder.

Rajma step by step

  1. Wash and soak rajma overnight.
  2. In a pressure cooker add soaked rajma, salt, bay leaf cover with lid and cook when 1 whistle medium the flame and cook about 20 minutes.
  3. In a kadai add ghee when hot add hing, jeera seeds when cracked add cloves, black pepper, bay leaf, onion paste stir 2 minutes.
  4. Add tomato, garlic, ginger paste, chopped green chilli stir 2 minutes now add kitchen king masala and fresh cream.
  5. Add this puree into boil rajma a and cook 5 minutes serve hot garnish with cream enjoy with rice or nan kulcha.
