Ingredients of Rajma Chawal
- It's 200 grams of Rajma.
- It's 2 of medium sized Onions.
- Prepare 2 of medium sized tomatoes.
- You need 5 (6 pieces) of garlic.
- It's 2-3 of green chillies.
- Prepare 1/2 of " piece of ginger.
- It's 2-3 of bay leaves.
- Prepare 1 of small piece of cinnamon stick.
- You need 2-3 of cloves.
- You need 2-3 of cardamom / elachis.
- It's 2 teaspoon of Red Kashmiri chilli powder.
- Prepare 2 teaspoon of Coriander powder.
- You need 1 teaspoon of Haldi powder.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala.
- You need 2 of /3 tablespoon oil or ghee as per choice.
- It's to taste of Salt.

- Soak Rajma overnight. And Boil them..
- Take one pan. Add little oil. Cut onions roughly and add to it. Into it put ginger, garlic and green chillies..
- Saute till onions are translucent. Switch off the gas and allow it to cool..
- After cooling grind this into paste..
- Now take one pot or deep sized pan. Add some ghee and masalas like bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, elachi and laung..
- Add onion paste and saute for few minutes. Now make tomato paste and add to this masala..
- Mix well and saute for 5 10 mins..
- Add masalas like red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, turmeric, garam masala. Saute for 2 mins and add rajma into it..
- Now saute till oil gets separated from masalas. Add little water and give one whistle..
- Now rajma is ready to be served with plain white rice..
- Serve Rajmas with white rice and Aachar..
