Ingredients of Rajma
- It's 250 gram of Rajma.
- You need Pinch of baking soda.
- You need 3 of Tomato.
- You need 3 of Onion.
- You need 2 of Capsicum finely chopped.
- You need 2 tbsp of Oil.
- It's 25 gram of Butter.
- You need 1 tsp of Cumin seeds.
- You need 4-5 of Curry leaves.
- Prepare Pinch of Asafoetida.
- It's 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- It's 1 tsp of Cumin coriander powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of rajma masala.
- It's 1 tsp of Garam masala.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- It's 2 glass of water.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Coriander finely chopped.

The Punjabi way of cooking Rajma Masala is to soak it overnight in water, boil it using a pressure cooker and mix bhuna masala made with chopped onions, pureed tomato, ginger, garlic and milieu of fresh spices including cumin, coriander and chilli powder.

- Soak Rajma overnight. Then whistle it for 5 to 7 in cooker by adding baking soda and pinch of salt to it. Make tomato and onion puree in a mixy. Now heat the pan. Add cumin seeds,curry leaves and let it sputter. Then add asafoetida..
- Now add onion puree and saute it till it becomes golden brown in colour. Then add tomato puree to it. After that add turmeric, chilli powder,cumin coriander powder,salt, rajma masala garam masala and saute it well. Now add 2 glass of water to it. Saute it till it becomes a thick gravy..
- Then add boiled rajma in it. Mix it well and let it cook on low flame for 10 to 12 minutes. Now garnish it coriander leaves our rajma is ready now. Serve it with rice and enjoy this delicious dish..
