  1. Prepare 50 Gm of Rajma(kidney beans).
  2. Prepare 3-4 of small tomatoes.
  3. It's 2 tsp of oil.
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
  5. It's 2 of chopped green chillies.
  6. Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  7. You need 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
  8. You need 1/4 tsp of coriander powder.
  9. Prepare 1/4 tsp of jeera/cumin seeds.
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp of garam masala.
  11. You need To taste of Salt.
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp of sugar.
  13. It's 1 tsp of Chopped fresh coriander leaves.

The Punjabi Rajma Masala also known as the North Indian Red Kidney Beans Curry is a very famous recipe from the North India. Rajma Masala popularly known as Rajma Chawal is considered as a comfort food in a Punjabi home. This makes a one dish meal, when the Rajma Masala is served along with steamed hot rice where the wonderful flavours of the rajma comes out when chewed along with rice. Rajma is my husband's favorite too!

Rice with Rajma Shots step by step

  1. In a bowl add rajma then add 1 glass water and soak it for 3 hours..
  2. Meanwhile chopped the Tomatoes roughly and make a purree.
  3. Take a pressure cooker add 1 tbspn oil once the oil is heated add 1/2 tspn of cumin seeds and chopped green chilli and sautee it for 1/2 min.
  4. Then add the puree,red chilli powder,turmeric powder, coriander powder,cumin powder,garam masala,salt,sugar and mix it..
  5. Then add the Rajma and cover the cooker with lid and pressure cook it untill 5 whistles..
  6. After 5 whistles oven the lid garnish it with coriander. Your Rajma is ready and serve it with rice.

Somehow I dont do too good with it. But Thrusday nights at home are usually Rajma and Jeera Rice nights or Chole and Jeera Rice nights!
