- It's 1 of glass kidney beans.
- Prepare 3 of onion.
- Prepare 4 of garlic.
- You need 1 of inch ginger.
- Prepare 4 of tomato.
- You need 3 of green chillies or as per ur taste.
- You need 2 of tsp mustard oil/any oil.
- You need of Salt as per taste.
- Prepare 1/2 of tspTurmeric powder.
- It's 1/2 of tspKashmiri red chilli powder.
- It's 1/2 of tspGaram masala.
- Prepare 1/2 of tspCoriander powder.
- Prepare 1/2 of tsp Roasted cumin seed powder.

Recently I bought a pack of Rajma ( Red kidney beans in English,Karamani or Karamani Payir in Tamil , Rajma in Punjabi,Hindi , Capparadavare in Kannada, Chikkuduginjalu / Nallachikkudu in Telugu ) to try some gravy/masala for rice. I have heard a lot about Rajma Chawal, a popular North Indian Dish. Rajma Masala is an authentic Punjabi dish made with red kidney beans, cooked in onion-tomato gravy along with spices. Kidney bean gravy/rajma gravy instructions
- Soak kidney beans for 5-6hrs.make a paste onion,garlic and ginger.
- Make a paste of tomato and green chillies,in a pan cook onion paste,add salt,turmeric powder and red chilli powder when onion released oil.
- Add tomato puree and cook till oil released.add kidney beans and 2 glass water in the masala and pressure cooker for 3 whistle.
- It's cooked now.
- Transfer again in the kadai /pan add all dry spices and garnish with fresh coriander and serve with jeera rice.
