Kashmiri rajma masala instructions

  1. Wash and soak the rajma overnight..
  2. In the morning,pressure cook rajma with water, salt, cloves, cinnamon stick and dry ginger powder for 15 minutes..
  3. Heat oil and ghee and add bay leaf and add chopped onion..
  4. After the onions turn golden brown,add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute..
  5. Add chopped tomato and tomato puree and saute again well..
  6. Add salt and other dry spices and saute till it starts leaving oil..
  7. Add boiled rajma and add more water to adjust the gravy..
  8. Pressure cook for a whistle again and switch off the gas. Serve the hot rajma masala with rice and salad..
